How to scan black and white cartoons
1. While scanning your BLACK AND WHITE images, for optimum performance scan in 24 bit (or above) grayscale mode, so you get anti-aliasing (smooth lines) versus aliased (blocky) lines.
2. Look at the contrast. If there is too much grey, adjust scan settings and try again. The images can be cleaned using a paint program.
